~ HSRCGh working definitions ~
We appreciate your visit. We are confident that you will come across many things of value as you navigate your way around our site.
Our Adinkra inspired logo, “Nkyinkyim”, depicts the tortuous nature of life’s journey. Especially for our Youth, these twists and turns require one to be versatile and resilient to survive and to secure our future.
Here at Human Security Research Centre, Ghana (HSRCGh), our work is anchored in a preventative human security approach to building and sustaining mutual trust between Government and local communities, as a means of preventing and countering violent extremism. It requires a continuous effort at building social cohesion, resilient local communities and a society that accords a life lived in dignity.
Explore our site. Find out more about how you could be part of the endeavour to protect and empower our local communities and people. Together, we can lift them from the bottom.
Thanks for being here!
